Hello everyone,
I have been receiving and reading a few things that I'm not happy to announce.
Let me start off by saying that every server has their own rules. This is because if there weren't any rules there would be chaos on heaven knows how many servers, and not just IT wise.
They are there for a reason. They're not just "stupid words" that limit you from doing as you please. They keep you safe and allow us, the staff, to help in ensuring that everyone is staying in line so that our server is free to play on with members.
We WANT to see you having fun.
We WANT to see you playing with your friends, and hunting or participating in events.
What we DON'T WANT is for someone to simply skim or even not even read our rules and go straight for the download. Because hey, every server is the same with rules, right?
WRONG.
Every server is different. Not just with content, but with their staff, rules, and regulations. This includes their amount of tolerance. I'm sure each of you has been on one server or another and it feels like you're in a completely different world than the server that you usually played on before.
This is because that their rules are different. And so, with different rules comes a different community.
We didn't make this server for nothing, and so we did not make these rules for nothing. We're trying to be as laid back as possible, but if some members are going to totally disregard our rules, and when they get in trouble or ask a common question and they say "I DIDN'T KNOW."
That's an issue. And quite frankly, it makes our jobs just that much harder simply because you didn't bother to read our rules.
I DON'T CARE if you are only roaming the forum.
I DON'T CARE if the server is offline.
That DOES NOT excuse you from reading our Rules and Regulations. Its link is located right on the left of this thread, within a very bold "IMPORTANT LINKS" table, and it's not hard to find otherwise.
Please, just use common sense and make sure that you read them over. This will lower any possible future issues or commonly asked questions in places such as the Shoutbox.
I really hope you see where I'm coming from.
Thank you
